During PFW I saw the presentation of LMT which showcased cultural heritage and the “savoir faire” for the art of knit wear with a modern and feminin twist. The designers inspirations for not only this collection but her designs in general come from minimalism and contemporary art and architecture where her goal is to promote french elegance and its traditions. Her intricate designs for knitwear are really unique and sophisticated where all production is hand made in France.

It took 1,100 pounds of wool, 90 people, and 30 days of knitting, but the world’s largest sweater is done.
The garment, which has entered the Guinness Book of Records as the biggest ever, was knitted in Istanbul, Turkey as part of a campaign by the Turkish government to encourage people to turn down the thermostat to save on energy costs.
